AIX, the 44.50m Motor Yacht built by Sanlorenzo and delivered in July 2022, represents hull #6 of the highly successful Alloy models. Exterior and Interior design was created by Zuccon International Project, while Sanlorenzo developed her naval architecture. AIX has a top speed of 23.0 kn and a cruising speed of 11.0 kn, while delivering a substantial volume of 485 GT.
Delivered for discerning owners, AIX is now available for charter in Australia and the South Pacific. She will represent the region’s most recently built and advanced charter yacht.
Accommodating 10 guests over 5 cabins, and 12 guests on application, AIX offers innovation rarely seen on a yacht of her size. The project’s highlight is the owner’s cabin, designed as a private apartment of 147 square meters, organised on three levels with indoor and outdoor areas offering direct access to her foredeck pool.
Providing extraordinary guest areas, AIX is the perfect charter yacht. Her gigantic beach club offers 100 square meters of usable space, presented through 3 hydraulic openings connecting the ocean.
For additional adventure, AIX is accompanied by a 40ft Tesoro tender, along with an extensive arsenal of water toys including 2 Seabobs and 2 Jetskis. Both AIX and AIX2 benefit from Starlink High-Speed Wifi to ensure seamless connectivity for guests while on charter.
A true Kiwi with worldwide knowledge! Bo has come onboard to be back in the South Pacific closer to family back home. He has had years of experience all around the world and more recently in Dubai working for the Royal Family. Bo was previously Captain for many years onboard a 77m in the Mediterranean, he is a dynamic, hands on leader who is bringing his luxury premium experience onboard M/Y AIX to create amazing memorable experiences for guests.
Cornelius (also known as Neil), is from South Africa and has had a solid 7 years yachting experience on both Private and Charter Motor Yachts. He has a great sense of humour and can be relied on to lighten the mood yet remain focused, dedicated, and get the job done properly. Although in the role of First Mate, Neil has a great Engineering background also having previously worked onboard a 33m as the Sole Engineer. Never been to Australia Neil was so excited to join M/Y AIX and experience all that us Aussies have to offer along with seeing for himself the Kangaroos and Crocodiles!
Lalit comes to AIX with many years of Engineering experience.
Since 2005 Lalit has fulfilled the role of Engineer on many ships and yachts in the South Pacific and the United Arab Emirates.
Lalit loves meeting new people, whilst being part of a great team on the water.
Ronald is from the Phillipines and has worked onboard Motor Yachts for the last 10 years. Starting off as a Yacht Steward/ Deckhand he has had experience of both the Interior and Exterior in both private and charter yachts. Ronald is known for his amazing attention to detail, cleanliness and organisation along with his fantastic tender driving skills.
As a chef of 10 years Jared trained in New Zealand in a number of hatted restaurants before traveling overseas. He learnt a lot from his travel experiences and chose to pursue yachts after moving to Australia. In the last twelve plus months Jared has been a freelance relief chef on various yachts within Queensland, mainly the Whitsundays. Jared is keen to showcase his talent onboard AIX and looks forward to meeting your clients.
Darah has joined the yacht with over 10 years of experience as a Chief Stewardess. Having spent the last 10 years onboard M/Y Smeralda a 77m Motor Yacht in Dubai her experience she brings onboard is outstanding. Her passion for hospitality is huge and she loves working with people in a team. She is completely dedicated to her role, loves to train younger stewardesses and see them grow. She is always smiling with a bright and colourful personality.
Simona is a hidden gem from Sweden, she has had years of experience in service oriented professions and says she is humbled to often receive compliments regarding her excellent service standards. She serves with a smile, keeping the guest’s best experience at mind. With her genuine passion for providing amazing service combined with being a smiley person with a very positive mindset she is a great asset onboard M/Y AIX.

Eleisha prides herself on a high level of service and describes herself as a happy, positive and easygoing person. She loves life outdoors and has a love for all things nature and water-related.
Eleisha enjoys exploring new places, and cannot wait to share her backyard with AIX guests!
Sailing has always been a big part of Laura’s life, both recreationally and professionally. Laura was a member of the Australian Sailing Futures Team and recently finished several years campaigning for the Olympics in the sport of Sailing.
Laura has spent most of her life on the water exploring every water activity there is including- wakeboarding, water skiing, tow foiling and wing foiling.
Laura is very comfortable around boats and also lived aboard a 44ft sailing yacht for 10 months!
Laura believes that her time in professional sports has given her experience in teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Laura is an asset to the AIX team!
