Sail and Work Experience
Christian is an experienced yacht captain with over 20 years in the yachting industry, specialising in luxury sailing yachts from 60–125ft. He has commanded prestigious yachts including S/Y AYNI (Oyster 885), where he managed Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons as well as a transatlantic crossing, overseeing all vessel operations, owner liaison, maintenance planning and budgets. He has also served as Relief Captain onboard S/Y KAILUA (Sunreef 74), managing high-end charter operations, and has captained a variety of Oyster, Lagoon and custom sailing yachts in both private and charter programmes. Earlier roles include Captain of S/Y BEATOO and First Mate aboard S/Y CHALLENGER 93, building extensive offshore, transatlantic and leadership experience.
Job Description
The Captain is responsible for navigation, safety, the overall running and financial management of the vessel, crew and guests. He ensures the safe and efficient operation of the yacht at all times, including compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. He takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port state and local laws and regulations, and manages the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the vessel’s policies. He provides daily leadership for the crew and encourages teamwork, individual growth and personal development by delegating duties and supervising all crew tasks.

Anita is a highly experienced yacht chef with over 20 years aboard private and charter motor and sailing yachts from 20m to 45m. She has cruised extensively throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Pacific and Red Sea, as well as completing Atlantic crossings. Her recent roles include Chef aboard MYJUNIOR and FREEBOOTER, alongside freelance positions on ALCANARA / THILA, DESTINATION and BLUE INFINITY. Her extensive career also includes long-term seasonal work aboard HARMONY I, as well as numerous other private and charter yachts. Anita specialises in Mediterranean and international cuisine, fine dining, dietary-specific menus and provisioning, with additional experience in stewardess duties, deliveries and shipyard support.
Job Description
As Chef, Anita is responsible for the complete operation of the galley and for providing high-quality meals for guests and crew. She plans and prepares varied menus according to guest preferences, dietary requirements and cruising schedules, with particular strengths in Mediterranean and international cuisine. She oversees provisioning, stock management, food hygiene and galley organisation while maintaining consistently high standards of presentation and service. Anita works closely with the Captain and interior team to tailor the dining experience to guests and ensure smooth service throughout private trips and charters.

Sail and Work Experience
Chris-Mare is a service-driven hospitality professional with experience in both shoreside hospitality and the superyacht industry. She has completed temporary Deck/Stew positions onboard M/Y KORU (50m) and M/Y SYMPHONY (101m), assisting with both interior and deck operations, including housekeeping, laundry, ironing, inventory management and maintaining the vessel’s presentation. Earlier experience aboard a fishing vessel involved deck operations, fishing gear handling, cleaning, maintenance and catch management. Ashore, she worked as a receptionist at Club Mykonos Langebaan, delivering professional guest services, and as a conveyancer at PP Smit Attorneys, developing strong organisational and administrative skills.
Job Description
A Deck/Stew is responsible for supporting both the deck and interior departments to ensure the yacht is maintained to the highest standards. Duties include housekeeping, laundry, guest service, detailing, line handling, washdowns, assisting with docking operations, tender preparation and maintaining both guest and crew areas. The role requires flexibility, attention to detail and a proactive approach to supporting guests and crew.
Dean is an aspiring professional deckhand with practical experience aboard both motor and sailing yachts, including private and charter operations. Most recently, he worked aboard the 30m catamaran MUZOON, carrying out teak restoration, washdowns, detailing and general deck maintenance. Prior to this, he joined the 26m LILYBEE as Deck/Stew for a delivery from Imperia to Palma de Mallorca, standing day and night watches and assisting with docking, line handling, deck maintenance, provisioning and charter preparation.
Dean has also worked as a deckhand aboard the 28m SÚITÚ during an owner trip on the French Riviera, where his duties included tender operations, guest transfers, watersports setup, anchoring, docking and maintaining the yacht’s exterior. His earlier experience includes deck and engineering support aboard the 49m PARAM JAMUNA IV, where he assisted with bilge cleaning, painting and surface preparation, as well as deckhand duties aboard the 17m LADY ZOË. He has additionally gained shore-based industry experience as a yacht provisioning assistant in the South of France.

As Deckhand, Dean is responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient operation and presentation of the yacht’s exterior. His duties include washdowns, detailing, polishing, teak care, line handling, docking and anchoring operations, tender handling and the preparation of watersports equipment. He supports the senior deck crew with routine maintenance and ensures exterior guest areas are kept clean, organised and presented to a high standard. He also assists with guest movements and tender operations while maintaining a professional and safety-conscious approach.
