PS5 PLAYSTATION can accommodate up to 9 people on board. Her interior features a Master suite, a VIP cabin and 2 twin cabins, one with an additional pullman bed and one convertible into a double. PS5 PLAYSTATION’s large saloon, bathed in light through exceptionally large potholes, invites guests to relax in a refined and intimate atmosphere. The small lounge offers a playful space for board games and film nights. PS5 PLAYSTATION’s specialised dining room allows guests to enjoy high-quality meals and service onboard. The crew have their own quarters and service entrance, which maintains privacy for guests.

Matthew is a highly experienced sailing yacht captain with extensive offshore cruising, racing, and delivery experience. He has captained PS5 PLAYSTATION and KISMET, leading Mediterranean cruising programmes, Atlantic crossings, competitive regattas, and all aspects of vessel management and guest operations. Earlier roles include Mate/Deckhand aboard PARADIS, Sailing Instructor and Chief Instructor with Flying Fish, worldwide yacht deliveries totalling approximately 50,000 nautical miles, flotilla management, yacht refit projects, and competitive racing including Les Voiles de St Tropez. His background also includes engineering and project management experience from his previous career as a Physics Research Associate.
Job Description
The Captain is responsible for navigation, safety, the overall running and financial management of the vessel, crew and guests. He ensures the safe and efficient operation of the yacht at all times, including compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. He takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port state and local laws and regulations, and manages the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the vessel’s policies. He provides daily leadership for the crew and encourages teamwork, individual growth and personal development.

Michele is a professional chef with over 20 years of culinary experience and several seasons in the yachting industry. He has worked as Sole Chef aboard NDS EVOLUTION, SAIL SPIRIT, ALEJANDRA, and CHIKKO 4, catering for owners, guests, and crew while managing provisioning, inventories, budgets, and food costs. Alongside his culinary responsibilities, he has assisted with sailing operations, watchkeeping, docking manoeuvres, and crew training. Prior to yachting, Michele held Executive Chef, Head Chef, and Sous Chef positions across Italy, Norway, Tanzania, Australia, New Zealand, and Scotland, gaining extensive experience in Mediterranean cuisine, healthy dining, kitchen management, and reducing food waste.

She is also an experienced Dive Instructor, leading guest dives, tender operations, and water activities. The Stewardess is responsible for maintaining the yacht’s interior to the highest standards, delivering exceptional guest service, housekeeping, laundry, table settings, food and beverage service, provisioning, and assisting with guest activities. Depending on operational requirements, she also supports deck operations, tender work, and water sports while ensuring guests enjoy a seamless onboard experience.

Claire is an enthusiastic Bosun with over 13,000 logged nautical miles and experience leading deck operations aboard ALEJANDRA, where she progressed from Deckhand to Bosun. She has managed deck maintenance, watchkeeping, inventory, crew training, rig care, varnishing, painting, winch servicing, and transatlantic passages. She also gained experience aboard ADEONA and completed a delivery aboard DREAMS 3. Before entering yachting, Claire worked in business management, carpentry, and hospitality, bringing strong organisational and leadership skills to her maritime career.

The Bosun supervises the deck crew and is responsible for organising and maintaining all exterior operations aboard the yacht. Duties include deck maintenance, tender operations, safety equipment, mooring, anchoring, watchkeeping, inventories, supervising deck projects, and ensuring the exterior is maintained to the highest standard while assisting the First Mate and Captain.

Juan Ignacio is an electromechanical engineer with a strong sailing background and growing superyacht engineering experience. He has recently served as Sole Engineer aboard DOÑA FRANCISCA, managing hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and preventative maintenance systems. Previous roles include Chase Boat Skipper for ARISTARCHOS, Race Crew aboard MOAT, Temporary Crew aboard ARTEMIS BLEU, and Deckhand/Second Engineer aboard PANTHALASSA, where he combined engineering duties with deck operations, sail handling, rigging, tender operations, and watchkeeping. He is also an accomplished competitive sailor, former Argentine National Team member, and experienced delivery skipper.

The Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC, and technical systems aboard the yacht.
