MISCHIEF is a 54m / 177ft Motor Superyacht built in 2006 by Baglietto and refit in 2024. Sleeping 12 guests in 6 cabins and with a crew of 14. Cruising at 12.50 kn/ph with a top speed of 17.00 kn/ph. The guest cabins comprise a master suite with a super king size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities located on the main deck, 2 VIP cabins with a super king size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities, a cabin with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom and 2 cabins with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities.

Captain Chris started his career on High Speed Ferries. In his 8 years he worked his way from Jetty Hand to Fleet Captain. From there he moved into professional Yachting and obtained his Master (Y) Unlimited, thus far has enjoyed an illustrious 20+ years!
Favourite Charter Destination: Norway, Kimberleys, Ibiza, Corsica, Sardinia and Aeolian Island. To name a few!
Favourite Yachting Experience: That would have to be cruising the West Coast of Australia via Abrolhos Island to Broome and through the Kimberleys.

Professional Background:
Byron joins us from New Zealand and has been working in the yachting industry for over 14 years. Yachting has brought him all over the world, cruising as far North as Alaska and as far South as Patagonia and all through the Pacific. Having a busy last few years working on completing his Master 3000.
In his spare time, Byron likes to explore new destinations in search of the best spots for surfing and kite surfing or jumping off a mountain with his paraglider whilst experiencing new cultures along the way.
Favourite Charter Destination: Byron’s favourite charter destination is the Pacific Islands, but to say one country would have to be Papua New Guinea, he was lucky enough to work on a vessel that liked to volunteer Crew expertise back in the community were needed. The best of both worlds some would say.

I have been working in superyachting since 2008 and have been employed on commercial charter yachts from 50-90m. Cruising all of the America’s, most of Northern, Eastern and western Mediterranean, and have travelled to over 50 countries. Tried my best to fish them all too.
Favourite Charter Destination: Turkey, from Istanbul right down to Bodrum

I started driving for my father’s water taxi business, driving classic wooden boats on the Yarra river in Melbourne. I then moved into yachting and have worked on a number of vessels all over the world from 35m to 70m in length.

In between Surf Coaching, concreting and landscaping Ari enjoyed competing in Surf competitions throughout New Zealand and fishing the far north. His attraction to yachting was a life on the water and the cool places it will take him.

Favourite Yachting Experience: Ari really enjoyed anchoring at Tavarua Island in Fiji and having the opportunity to surf Cloud Break! Bit of a life goal. He also made the most of exploring local restaurants and cuisines.

Cruz started his career in commercial boating as a deckhand at 23. He spent 6 years around Great Keppel Island on Ferries, Barges, Sail Charters and Dive ops. With his Coxswains in hand he was able to stand in as Relief Skipper. A budding Mischief Captain in the making perhaps?

With three years’ experience in yachting. Liam built on a passion that originated from growing up around boats and the water. His previous background in real estate and property development has shaped his professional life, but a love for the ocean and maritime adventure has always been at the core. Lion is drawn to the destinations where there is good surf and the beer is cold.
Favourite Charter Destination: The South Pacific is a memorable destination for Liam. The combination of stunning islands, clear blue seas, and the sheer vastness of the region created an unforgettable adventure. The beauty of the South Pacific, along with its sense of remoteness, made it an experience like no other.
Favourite Yachting Experience: His favourite yachting experience was taking charter guests diving and spearfishing in the untouched waters of Papua New Guinea, exploring vibrant reefs and remote locations.

Marin is Mischiefs longest standing crew member having worked onboard for 8 years! He is a man of great knowledge and many a story, best heard in real life.

Favourite Yachting Experience: A child at heart, Marin enjoys the remote locations and water sport activities. He has a very fond memory of a recent charter, heading off on the Jet ski with one of our young guests to zoom between the Islands, they spotted fish and bright blue starfish and spoke of their homes.

Bobbie worked at a 1 Michelin star and a 3 Michelin star restaurant back in the Netherlands and has been working on Mischief since the beginning of 2021. He loves the dynamic and busy environment in super yachting!

Shano started in cafes and restaurants and moved into the music industry, catering film & television, event catering, private catering before finding himself Freelancing for a good 16 years in Australia, England and France. Versatility is his specialty and he believes in good honest food that brings people comfort and joy and if people aren’t laughing, it’s not working.

Garan is luxury hotel trained in Ulura, Fairmont Royal York hotel in Toronto, Film catering. Private and corporate high-end catering. He joined Mischief in 2021 and has been adding his phenomenal touch to the Ahoy Club Fleet ever since.

Favourite Yachting Experience: For Garan every destination is a joyful experience, the Whitsundays has been by far been his favourite. Beach BBQ’s, snorkelling, themed events and fishing, he’s here for it all!

Cass began working in Childcare at the age of 16 and nannying 5 children from 17 years. She spent a little time as a personal assistant before finding herself yachting in the Mediterranean throughout Summer. Once Cass landed in South Africa she crossed into Personal Training… since then she has returned to the world of Yachting, enjoying the opportunity to combine the skills acquired over the years.
Favourite Charter Destination: Overseas – Malta. Aus – Whitsundays.
Favourite Yachting Experience: Beach picnics and themed events onboard are hands down the best times on charter yachts. Her favourite on Mischief so far would have to be the Superhero Party we had onboard for one teenaged guest. All 14 crew and 9 guests wore full costumes for the day. The adults definitely got just as much enjoyment out of it as the kids (maybe more). The party finished at sunset with an arm wrestling competition between the crew and guests. The finale between the oldest son and his father. It was a day to remember for sure.

Jamie has been yachting for 4 years throughout the Med and Australia, enjoying a few smaller yachts before making her way to Mischief. Prior to that she worked in Hospitality management in New Zealand.

Favourite Yachting Experience: Jamie was lucky enough to do a charter in Western Aus they were shown to a honey hole in Abrolhos Islands, 3 of them caught 28 crayfish in 10 minutes!

Professional Background:
Becca went to massage therapy school in Maui, Hawaii in 2017. She worked at Blue Star Resort for 3 years. When Covid shut down the island and tourism she found her love for Scuba Diving and has been working as an instructor since 2020. In March of 2023 she moved to Australia working the Great Barrier Reef and Ningaloo Reef. After deciding to to combine her massage and diving skills with her years of hospitality she took a leap into yachting.
